The YOU Workout

Ever struggle with finding what 'works' for you when working out?

It's a constant struggle because even when you find something you like doing, your body will get used to it after a few months, or plateau in terms of development.

Let's think about working out like food, we love to eat different things. We get excited about the differences in flavour, texture, complexities of a dish. Even the simplicity of making an omelette, adding any type of extra ingredient that makes it YOUR omelette.

Now we always want to approach food in a positive way and stay excited about it, eating the same thing everyday can be quite dull and uninspiring. Same thing goes for workouts! Keeping your body stimulated in different ways is one of the best ways to workout.

So yes, it is about testing out different workouts, or aspects of fitness. Think of the below as a list of ingredients for your omelette.

- Weight lifting (most amazing feeling when you accomplish a deadlift & feel strong)

- Resistance training (reformer pilates, using therabands)

- Bodyweight (yoga, boxing, calisthenics),

- Cardio (Running, rowing.. but let's be honest, DANCE)

- Mobility (yoga, stretch)

There are so many more activities that fall under these categories but you get the gist. Creating your own combination creates a YOU workout that keeps you excited, engaged, and progressing.

Just like any omelette, it's all about experimenting with different doses of ingredients to get the 'just right' result for you.

So don't be afraid to crack a few eggs on your way. Your workout routine is just waiting for you around the corner.

Much Love
